Do not forget the handset 'cycle'.

The handset 'cycle' is down to approximately two years. The market share leader in phones two years ago was ERICY. This is one of the many reasons that ERICY got beat up so bad before the QCOM announcement . . . with the weak line up of new phones analysts were uncertain of ERICY regaining market share through 'cycle' upgrades (in general consumer loyalty is highly correlated in handset sales). Add to the current tidal wave of good news for QCOM and the “cycle” upgrades giving market share from NOKA back to ERICY (AND QCOM).
