I think we can well afford to dove-tail in here the discussion of 'comparative' stock selection strategies -- particularly comparative with respect to the TA approach. In the formation of a system, even a system primarily based on TA, one may have reason to include some other factors that aren't strictly TA in nature. It's helpful to hear the justification for such an inclusion. And TA Beginners seems an appropriate place for such a post. That is, Richard, unless you (and others) strongly feel that TA should be the absolutely exclusive instrument in one's system. But even if that were so, you should consider and even welcome evidence to the contrary, when such evidence exists.
