Mohan-san:

You may be right about labor intensive in mortgage lending. Let us see what is involved:

loan officer
credit checking clerk
underwriter
escrow specialist

just to name a few directly involved with loan processing. Then loan document preparations, escrow instructions, etc etc. the fact that there is a trainer for new employees indicates that business must be good.

You might check with Dorine about DLJ after she comes back from her cruise. My broker Jack White had an affiliation with DLJ until the end of Feb, now is a division of Waterhouse securities. :~(

Mohan: Check out the new issue of Forbes...There is a GREAT article on E-Loan (pg. 222 of the April 19th issue).....Remember, the VC firms behind this e-commerce pioneer have backed YHOO, eBay, CSCO, AOL and a few other high flyers <GGG>!!....DO you think you can dig up a few shares for me??....IMHO, this IPO will be BIG.

Best Regards,

Scott
