Kit, my read on TI sales of micron share -they will sell ASAP. My simple reasoning if Ti wanted exposure to DRAM they would not have sold it. TI knows the reality of DRAM as well as anyone- assuming the bears are correct ( I believe they are) they know that the supply/demand situation will be unfavorable for a while. I have seen no tangible evidence of a significant turnaround in the DRAM industry since TI sold. Yes micron reported a $22 million profit on about $ 1 billion in sales but that is a long way from the boom times of 1995. Although the PC bulls have been in Dellnial -g- I think most can agree that the rate of growth in PC sales has slowed . When the shareholder economy of the US slows it will only aggravate the situation. I suspect TI will jump at the unbelievable opportunity to sell micron shares in the 40's and 30's. mike
