(OT) The problem with shorting Ebay vs Amazon is that everyone already knows about Amazon's plans--- I'm not so sure that everyone knows about Microsoft's plans for a bookstore. You may be right-- someday Amazon may beat Ebay on auction, but someday they may all collapse from massive overvaluation. From my point of view, all the internet stocks are going to collapse, it's just a question of which will collapse first. I'll take the one which has to sell and ship real products and compete with deep pockets like MSFT and companies like BUY.COM which have even nuttier business plans. But I guess if I'm so down on Amazon, I should go over to their thread and bug them for a while, right?
