I'm not sure where you're headed with this discussion.

Personally I'd welcome discussion of statistically verifiable correlations between fundamental factors and price movements. But if you want to have a discussion on non-TA methods of stock trading, please start another thread for that.

I think a novice or anyone inclined should start their own study on the topic you suggest. Thankfully there are plenty of resources on SI and elsewhere to obtain this information. I fear clouding this particular thread with such discussions is likely to muddy the picture for novices who are exploring technical analysis.
