Tom : I was listening to Charles Stanley this weekend. He is wonderfully anointed Baptist. I look for the Holy Spirit to sweep this nation, across all denominational lines. I would not be surprised if we had no two people on this thread of the same denomination. God by His design has made this thread for all denominations, all races. More than ever, I would that God show us, how He is in control. I know that we will have prayers that are not answered in the way in which we expect. Charles Stanley emphasized this weekend that there are some things that we "must" ask for in order for God to give it to us ; other things God will give us whether or not we ask Him. For example Moses interceded for the nation Israel, God said to leave Him alone that He should decide if He should destroy them for their disbelief. Charles Stanley , said , and I agree that God never intended to destroy Israel, was never even tempted to do so. He was finding out what kind of a leader Moses was; and sure enough Moses stepped up and started trying to sway God from destroying Israel. Well Moses didn't have to try very hard; God had already made up His mind. Moreso here I apologize that I was even tempted to sway Shawn last week in leaving his 'witch ' of a wife, Angel. I thank shalom for setting me right and a friend of mine and I will try to visit the couple when Shawn is in town the next time.. In Christ...gregor
