In fact I think I characterised the Yugoslavian media as predictively "name calling." The "Wag the Dog" movie unfortunately has merit when applied to bill clinton. It is embarrassing because as you have pointed out many times, his personal problems are not what America is about (at least in principle). He has opened the door to this type of thing and I hate him for it. He should have moved on long ago. That he didn't confirms for the world that America has become no more than the whim of the most powerful opportunists. There is no question in anyones mind that he has played the system to avoid taking his lumps. The world has witnessed our failure to deal with him as an equal and representative member of our democracy. If he is representative, shame on us.
