Mike

I guess, slowing the growth of the money supply means tightening but it doesnt mean tightening until they actually do that in my book. Also, it would seem that inflation (or devaluation of the dollars purchasing power) is in the cards as bond yields continue their trend up.
I can not figure why my ABX and NEM positions keep getting beat up however.

Finally, what puts are you evaluating or looking to add to today. I am considering SLR. I think SCH has your number as they are marching higher and higher. Pretty soon another split and they head higher on that fundamental piece of news (g)

Mike, I'm thinking about shorting IBM again. I've made some small gains, but have been stopped out to soon. This time I'm going to take a substantial short position(for me) & if keeps going up short more. My thinking is that although it may not go down as far as some other big techs, it's upside is fairly limited, so hopefully I 'll be able to sleep O.K.

I'd appreciate your feel for where IBM will trade in 6 months. TIA.

James
