QQQ seems to be an easy way of playing an expected upside or downside in the NAZ market. In the last few days, the NAZ went from 2305 to 2492(8.1%), NDX from 1950 to 2145(10%), and QQQ from 97.5 to 106.8(9.5%). NDX & QQQ track one another very closely, as they should.

Obviously, it reduces your risk since you are buying a basket of stocks. Not a bad idea. For example, during the same period I have been buying CMVT at an avg. of 77. At 85.5, my gain is ~11%. The extra 1.5% profit doesn't look attractive for the additional risk that I am taking.

I'll start trading QQQ from now on.
