Nicholas,

I can hardly believe how dense you appear to be. You come across as a taker, a dilettante, a provocateur. Just when I think you may be reforming yourself, your true colours show through again.

A good number of people have been very kind to engage you and try to answer your questions. Yet you show incredible insensitivity, and a complete lack of good judgement, in many of your responses. I'm quite amazed at how civil the discourse has remained given your conduct.

This forum, like all on SI, has its own sense of purpose and community which is now well established after some ten thousand posts. It may be a reasonable thing to question from time to time if a community and purpose should change, but I think you need to earn some respect first.

The latest set of your exchanges is indicative of how much respect you deserve, as you offer none to others.

Nicholas, you seem to want an absolute answer to a question I believe does not have an absolute answer. As for using a system based only on TA I believe the answer is yes for some people but for others the answer is no. What works for one person may or may not work for another. This is a theme that has run through this thread from it's very beginning.

This thread is about TA. I have seen other threads that do mix some FA with TA. If you want a thread that discusses the use of TA in conjunction with other methods you are free to start your own subject.
