RE: Sprint-

NOBODY can figure out what they plan for serious last mile access (Reingold, Kastan and others have been trying to squeeze this out of them since last year). I pushed the broadband local access issue in their Q&A at ML, and Espry said that broadband fixed wireless (HE brought up the technology) looked particularly good to them. Fwiw, he also admitted that reselling RBOC copper for xDSL was not an optimum solution.

Did anyone catch that Fahnestock picked up coverage on WCII last Fri with a buy? I would post it here, except it would be somewhat offtopic, but I really got burned out on the deluge of (to ME) whiny indulgence and irrelevant noise on the WCII thread, so have been thinking of starting a more focused thread on BBFW in general. Don't know if anyone reading here (likely the more serious BBFW readers) here would be interested in participating?

Negative- yet ANOTHER thread to monitor

Positive- by charter it would be much higher SNR, higher on industry fact and thoughtful sell and buy side analysis, and lower on "therapy" and noise.

Are any of our BBFW posters/readers interested in such a thread? If so, I'll post the FAHN (John Bauer - formerly of Jeffries) report on WCII there.
