My understanding is that HIV/AIDS is not so bad in Tanzania. I hope so because many companies are moving in there lately. Of course, there's malaria, sleeping sickness, yellow fever and the rest. No infrastructure. No development of any consequence. Very primitive place --- even for Africa!

Do you know any details about Sutton eg gold reserves, richness, ore body etc?

3/29/99 - Major Increase in Metals Prices Back 5.2 Percent Rise in Mining Production

MEXICO CITY, Mar. 29 (El Universal/Infolatina)-- Production value in the Mexican mining sector reached 28.76 billion pesos in 1998, 5.2 percent higher than the previous year, according to figures released by the Trade Department. Silver production value rose 37 percent last year, while gold production was up 2.5 percent to 2.25 billion pesos, despite a slight decline in volume.
