John, my son has a very cool little Sharp Mebius notebook which he prefers to either of our mainframe PCs. It has a great screen, keyboard just the right size - too big and your fingers have to move around too much, too small and you hit three keys at a time. I suppose different keyboards are needed - Texans will need size 12 and Japanese teenagers, size 6. It has an accurate touchpad. Sharp is selling 100,000 a month of just that model in Japan. The technology is rapidly improving. You'll get your wish soon enough. By A4 I'm meaning a range of small devices - not one size fits all types. Maurice
