Prof. if I may comment.
My analysis is that Bid.com is not going to making their margins on selling products on-line.
I really think it is the licencing of their Auction Software and other strategic anlaysis the company is persuing...they were setting up business in Ireland which is considered a technical hub in Europe.
Be careful the business model here is NOT retail or reselling refurbished products on-line. I am still trying to figure out in my industry analysis companies that are an exact comparision to BID.COM business model.
This company is unique with a diversified revenue source..things have changed positively for this company since I first noticed the company last Sept. 1998.

Pretty good for an Economics Graduate persuing my CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)...

Professor, thanks for the positive response. As you can now see my posts are not that popular among the Bid.com masses. You'd better be ready for the type of attacks I receive. Onward - We are Two and growing.
Re your question about Xmas and retailers it's never quiet so the problem must be something else. Hhmmm. I wonder what it could be?

>>Is it because auctions are quiet around Christmas time?
I value your useful input
