YOU ARE INVITED to attend the first "News Conference" which will be presented by several defendants in the "ITEX v. 100 John Does" lawsuit, Tuesday night, April 20, at 9 PM Eastern, 6 PM Pacific. The "News Conference" will be in the form of an internet chat accessible only at The ITEX Group Yahoo Club chat room atclubs.yahoo.com (or you can search by going to "Yahoo Clubs" and use "ITEX" as your search key word.) Important evidence, which was first revealed when Defendants deposed Yahoo! poster Bruce Cullen (aka "Treehopper") will be released to the public at that time. (Cullen was a prolific Yahoo! poster who pumped and promoted Itex during the material time.) A news release will be issued via the wire services prior to Tuesday night's conference, which will outline the agenda of discussion during the conference. Anyone can attend this "News Conference" but you must first join The ITEX Group as a member in order to access the chat room. As with all Yahoo! clubs, membership is free and anonymous. Defendant Les French ("John Doe No. 3") wishes to demonstrate to corporations such as Phillips Services, Itex, Wade Cook Financial, and others, that it does not pay to file frivolous "slap" lawsuits against investors and former employees who, in the course of civic duty and honesty, choose to use their Constitutionally protected freedom to post public messages anonymously for the purpose of alerting other investors to material wrong-doing and felonious criminal financial acts being committed by the companies' respective management. The purpose of these "slap" lawsuits is to "shut up" would-be whistle-blowers by falsely accusing them of "defamation", and indeed, to discourage ANY negative comments about the affected company and its management. In the Itex case, defendants were able to obtain volumes of documents related to the activities of Itex through discovery, which in fact prove that comments posted by Yahoo! posters were truthful, uncannily accurate, and not defamatory, as alleged by Itex. Details at Tuesday night's conference. See you there!!! 9PM Eastern, 6PM Pacific at The ITEX Group. Best regards, Les French
