Oh yes Mac's do it. Toshibas do it. Dells do it. Even Compaqs do it. I have had each and everyone of those machines crash. The last Toshiba notebook I had at work was the worst of the lot. It gave me the "blue screen of death" more times then the help desk wanted to hear about it. They finally fixed it by adding meg of RAM. I needed it to handle the spreadsheets and data bases.
