hdl...you may be honest and i applaud you for that...but as far as rational...it appears not to be your strong suit...why would anyone short an issue and hold it thru multiple splits over a course of several years...you know you are getting margin calls, and if you meet the reg t, than that's akin to pouring good money after bad... after making that statement...i must consider not only your rationale...and if your are truly one of impeccable veracity...then your sanity is in question... as far as e-machines flying off of shelves...why are job lot retailers as damark selling same...you claim yourself a value investor, closed end funds for decades...value investing,mutual funds,shorting.. indeed a strange melange of bedfellows... get a grip my good man or woman...i hope you better at law than investing...for the only nonsense that you refer to is coming forth from you... two basic rules of investing: 1) never lose money 2) never, ever violate rule 1 learn something about the reality of life and investing...cut your losses short...you are not rational for you allow your losses to accrue..in hopes that they will lessen..
