Max has his own trading firm now. But hey, there's even an Ansbacher Index. He used to work for, um, I forget. Smith Barney? Maybe. He wrote a wonderful book, really GREAT basic options stuff, called "The New Options Market". First edition 1976, I think, then revised. The basic weakness of it is that there's not much at all about index options. Still, though, it can't be beat for some excellent and always applicable rules of thumb, nor for its entertainment value. As I said, Max is a pretty funny guy.
