"No other telecommunications company will have these attributes" AT&T has these attributes NOW. Nextlink and Nextel would make a decent combination, but keep in mind that Level 3's network won't be complete until 2001. Also it takes tremendous ability to play in the data market. Who has these skills, Nextlink or Nextel? Also Nextlink's primary focus is on SMALL business customers who use very little data now so this market offers some but not immediate potential revenue from data applications. I do agree that it would be very hard for Craig to sell Nextel. George
