You're right--why the hell didn't they dump a cruise missile on the burning wreckage? Clinton was too distracted by the office help apparently. Too late now--Russia's already making copies.

Why? Everything to do with the stealth fighter has been on TV. Popular Mechanics had it in their books a long time ago. And the properties of the material can be found out with a variable laser and spectrometer.

Want to catch a Stealth Fighter:
A laser flash hitting the plane makes good for targeting for ground to aim missles.

The pilot is the most valuable part of the plane.
