..." With no regard to costs " ... LOL Excellent. From my standpoint, even with the periodic slowdowns, etc, SW is a excellent site. I don't imagine its a easy task keeping this thing running full tilt boogie all the time. Its the one charge on the Mastercard I have no problem paying every month.

Ping & Tracert Times Hi Guys, FWIW, some time ago, I did some tests with the dos ping/tracert and several windows based ping/tracert programs that I downloaded from the net. It was obvious that the different programs gave different times and the times were also affected by the number of programs that were running on my computer at the same time. This makes sense when you remember that your CPU time is spread over whatever number of programs you have open and windows adds overhead. There would also be some IO buffering if you are receiving data in Stockwatch, etc at the same time that you are running the tests. John
