I don't know. Pacific Bell is my ISP.

William,

Would you mind giving the home page of your ISP and I will do a trace route?

I asked for a reason. I am on cable but not through @Home. Technically, 10 mbs may be reached downstream. We use to receive an averge of 2 mbs for large file downloads. As more and more people signed up for the service, the back bone to the ISP has become the bottleneck. It is not the cable just as you would not have problems with the DSL. I can test the speed of the cable from the ISP server. We now get about 1.5 mbs down stream during peak hours and that is pleanty fast but the ISP has to put in more backbone for us to get back up to speed. More people are signing up too. Where is my CSCO stock when I need it and UNPH<G>
