Paul Re <<The 400 MHz Kmart 62 pricing free fall IS ACCELERATING !>>

How are the prices of Celerons?

See Paul, they are related. Intel lowers the price, AMD responds. Very easy to understand and nothing new. Get over it.

You should be just as worried about Intel's profit since those $100 Celrons are not nearly as profitable of PIII. Stop your BS already.

Paul - RE: "On Sunday, the drop from $129 to $121 was crazy, buy TODAY, Pricewatch is reporting 400 MHz K62's at $110, another $11 drop in just a day !

This is getting SERIOUS !"

Hmm, this is getting interesting.

K6-2 400, 380, and 350MHz processors prices are dropping fast, but the 450MHz price has only gone down slightly (you can't really count the $179 price someone has for the 450 because there is only one vendor at that price).

How long does it take for the vendors on Pricewatch to get processors after they have been made and packaged in Austin? If the numbers add up, there is a possibility the manufacturing problem lasted longer than 8 weeks.

This reminds me of the continued significant price drops the Celeron 300A had at the end of December.
