>>WHO THE HECK IS KOOKABURRA RESOURCES?<<

Some Canadian company which sells Kookoo clocks to Californians who find themselves Lost in the Eastern Hills without the aid of a time devise. They (the company KOB for short) have been doing fairly well but had a great surge in sales when the shop burned down last Nov. (You know how fire sales draw the public.) Everybody and their dog wanted a Kookoo clock especially when there were clocks to be had cheap.

Some said you could see smoke for miles. They had to bring in large equipment and expertise, people with "boots" and "coats" who all together tried to put the fire out and save the shop before every thing was bought...of course at fire sale prices. Word has it that there was insurance to cover the loss but proceeds from the clock sales will have to be deducted from the total pay out. Word has it as well that they are not opening the shop until the mess has been totally cleaned up and they can get control of the crowds. Thought they had them calmed down a few times but the buyers clammoring to the Kookoo clock store have been exerting tremendous pressure.

In spite of eight attempts to push back the pressure created by all the buyers pushing on the door to get in, they have not been successful. They are presently building a relief store next door to take some of the pressure from the first one so they can finally get the pressure down enough to close the door. If they are not successful then no doubt every person in California will have a Kookoo clock hanging on their walls which will of course mean that kookoo clocks will go out of style and the market value will probably drop on Kookoo clocks. Should be an interesting play!
