IDTC Options Trading today brisk with 318 April 20 calls by: Grampoptemp 43126 of 43130 traded, 154 17 1/2's and 239 15's. Only 59 May calls traded. A total of about 7,000 April calls are now open. Curiously, April 16th is the 3rd Friday in April, which falls before the 23rd. Either the April call buyers have a strong inkling that IDTC will conclude the IPO before then, or their are a lot of gamblers willing to risk a lot of money on the chance the stock will climb enough above the strikes to provide a profit. While there are undoubtedly many gamblers playing options, most buyers are a pretty knowledeable bunch. Judging by the 7,000 open April calls, I'd say our wait will be over well before the 23rd of April.
