The new is THE NEWS. It's abundantly clear that they
are capitalizing and/or spinning off Net2Phone. When
is the issue. But two days or two weeks is meaningless
in the scheme of things. Why is this significant? Just
what you said. Lehman, CIBC, and Banker's Trust are
essentially saying that Net2Phone which generates a
small portion of IDTC's revenues is now valued at the
price of the bond buyback. If you look at IDTC's
balance sheet, the line of credit extension is a real vote
of confidence by the investment bankers. They have
given IDTC a 100 million for the buyback, and 50
million in working capital. Combined with the
investor(s) contribution in a capitalisation or IPO,
IDTC has created a tremendous funding resource
which translates to increased shareholder value. It just
seems to me that the pieces keep falling in place.
Remember, IP telephony is an emerging market.
Proper capitalisation equates staying power. Being
from a small island off the coast of Maine, I was
always taught that if you do the right things and
persevere, you will reap the rewards. I think IDTC is
poised.
