Doc, Mr. White suggested twice in our conversation that they(I guess he meant management at Hits) didin't expect the big runup in price so quickly either..
Yes I will try to be patient.
It is difficult as so many of my other stocks are flying these days.
thanks,
david

It beats me why somebody would sell at this point. The hitsgalore site looks fine to me. It looks at least imho as though it use some improvement but functional and I am impressed by the fact that I can not pull up any porn sites. I have two cousins that have banned their teenage children from the web for fear of the pornography. That to me is a shame for there is a tremendous amout of good on the web. I have not tried to see if I can pull up any sites promoting bigotry, really not even sure where to start on that issue. Perhaps somebody here can tell me if that is possible with hits.

Hitsgalore, which until recently was a private company, now public and I am sure looking for the same valuations that are given other internet companies. That valuation I am sure will come particularly if Hits is looking for a nasdaq listing, which it appears as though they are. Of course one of the requirements for a nas listing is a $4+ share price maintained over a thirty day period, (among other reqs) so while hits may drift below $4 (or they may skyrocket) i doubt if they will stay there long.

Also if I'm not mistaken, are not shareholders of record on 4/6 to be given a 1 for 1 share (scmid) in ihsi? I thought I read somewhere
that ihsi was projected to trade in the .20 range. What if they go up? At .20, that's close to what I paid for scmi, which makes my hits shares almost free! The way that I understand this reverse merger is that if I sell before 4/6 I don't get my ihsi shares. So hits can go down, I'm not selling. It could go up <vbg>. Whatever direction hits goes in the short term is beyond me but my money says hits will be trading at a higher price six months from now. I haven't even been credited my hits shares yet. I called my broker today and he said they were coming. When I asked what if I wanted to sell his answer was to box.

I must admit I have done no DD on ihsi. Perhaps we could start a discussion about them?

Steve

We have had two "wash out" days, last Fri. and today.
This down action is due to DTC recognizing HITS stock
as valid from SCMI and SCMID. This allowed anyone that
purchased under these symbols to be able to place sell
orders under the symbol HITS. This correction has been
very healthy for the stock. I was pleased not to see
any PRs from the company untill the stock "washed"
and the weak, faint of heart, and short termers sold.
I do believe that a PR is due and I expect one no
later then WED. morning before the bell. I understand,
as I have stated before, that this internet company
has some tremendous developments on the table ready
to unfold. I expect to see nothing but overwhelmingly
positive news from this company in the next days,
weeks, and months to come. I would not pay any
attention to "call for the certs" or "the shorters
are here". Just watch the news and the "fundamentals">
that is without doubt what will drive the stock.
A NOTE: I see that someone wanted to know what my next
stock pick is. I do some research almost every day and
get many calls. Nine out of ten of these companies I
look at, usually under a dollar in price, I wouldn't
even feed to my dog let alone pass the information on
to other investors. I did find a company three weeks
back that has caught my attention. I have more info
coming to me tomorrow on management. It's a tech deal
with what appears to be a possible contract with a
FORTUNE 100 company. If and when I decide to take
a position in the stock, I will present a post on the
"cooler" with my thoughts on the company for you to DD.
Happy investing...WIZZARD

For what it's worth...

I have run web sites since July 1995, and have successfully sold one to a very popular search engine that rhymes with "kazoo".

I have seen sites come and go. I have spoken with entrepreneurs about their great visions for sites, and I have seen them crumble.

I have taken a good, long look at HitsGalore.com, and I signed up to do business with them today.

These folks have a serious business model and I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that they are going to make it BIG.

In case anyone doubts my ability to predict, I predicted the following ...

* I was in the first 250,000 to sign up for AOL. At that time, I said that they would put Prodigy, Genie, and Delphi out of business. I also said Compuserve would lose market share to them. If only I knew the degree to which it would happen!

* In 1995, I predicted Yahoo would be the leader, blowing away the other engines.

* And in 1998, I saw a clear winner in Goto.com. I don't know their financial status since they do a lot of advertising, but I can plainly see that their business model of bidding on terms WORKS. The price for terms continues to go up up up with no sign of falling.

So what do I like about HITS?

1) CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is the first search engine I have found that will work with you on the phone to place your keywords, help you with your banner, and show you how to make money with their service. I spent 1/2 hour on the phone with "Jennifer" today. She was very helpful, explained all their programs to me, and happily took my money. And I was happy to give it because I believe their services will help my web sites.

2) HITS is recruiting other sites to sell their services through an affiliate program that pays better than just about any one out there. I dropped my $99 in hopes of earning $1500. I'll keep the thread posted on how it goes.

3) GoTo allows you to open an account and all your keyword clickthroughs are deducted from a deposit. HITS has you put down a deposit for EACH KEYWORD. While I found it a bit frustrating that I couldn't connect several keywords to my deposit, I see how this is going to bring in increased revenue for them. So no problem...

and there is more.. this is just the start.

Anyway, I am glad to be a shareholder, even though it was through the mistake of owning SCMI.. hehe...

Holding and watching for big things to come out of this company.

hey shorters... go ahead and short. I don't care if it drops back to $2. Our day will come.

IMHO,

Mayor
