It's from today's close if it's late enough after hours. Just go to Scan, click on the Indicator 2 button, click the stochastics button, and select the appropriate dropdown.

Good luck,

Mr. Aloha

How to scan for stochastics crossovers in IQ Chart: Note that this is used with end-of-day data (updated at about 7:30 EST with the current market days' data.)

1) In IQ Chart, click on the "Scan" button.
2) Click on the "Query" folder.
3) Click "Add Criteria"
4) Enter "STO23_K>STO23_D AND STO23_K_1<STO23_D_1"
5) Click "OK"
6) Click "Run Scan"
7) Click "Show Results"

You can rank the results by Market Cap, Price, Volume, Relative Strength, or alphabetically.

(#4 says today's %K is greater than today's %D & yesterday's %K is less than yesterday's %D)

Also note that this is using a 23-day stochastics, which is different from the default in IQ Chart. To change the parameters of the technical indicators go to [Utilities] -> [Parameters]

There is a list of symbols and scan criteria you can use in the query folder. You can narrow down these searches further by volume, candlestick, price or other technical criteria.
