toowit,
I have a techie coming to configure or re-configure this beast and put in ram and set up the other monitor.I have printed your message and will point this out to him.Last time I tried to correct a problem it cost me money to re-format and re-install win98.I used cleansweep and I clean swept config.sys files and more.I laugh at it now but I sure was peeved at the time...I pay someone else to touch this thing from now on.Cheaper that way in the long run.

I think this is a bit too technical. As a Java applet, the Ticker and Charts rely only on the Java VM and class libraries of the browser you are using. Both Netscape 4.x or IE 4.x should work. (Although I have had to re-install a browser from time to time.)

The Java security model prevents the Ticker from finding out or caring about what the OS is doing to your drivers.
