Joe, A belated thanks for those links. Glad to see DPMI on the list of tech stocks favored in the current environment. Have you noted the trend in small/mid cap growth funds. Example, all the Van Wagoner funds (small cap, mid cap, post venture, emerging growth; Transamerica Aggressive Growth, Small Cap; also Fremont US Micro and Baron Asset. Looks like the market finally broadening out. Quite a few mid/small funds are up over 30% this year so far, including those mentioned. Hard to go wrong with the selections they mentioned in photolithography and related. Good post-- good reading. thanks!

Joe, I was back reading the IFC interview with Amy Selner again, as I had been struck with the similarity of views expressed here on the DPMI thread...Referring to the performance gap between the mega-cap and small cap funds, she noted: "But this won't last if small cap earnings begin to improve, and she expects that to happen later this year. The market will at that point broaden as money moves from the mega caps into smaller companies that are much more reasonably valued. Technology companies should also benefit from continued strong capital spending as companies invest in new equipment to improve productivity." Since we just saw the beginning of small cap moves this past week, her comments were especially appropriate from the persepctive of a late March interview. I notice that several of my other small cap funds have, indeed, been moving...especially the VanWagoner funds, all up over 35% for the year, but also, Fremont US Micro, and Baron Asset. All got hit on Thurs, however, I would note.
Thanks much for inputs... How are things going for you guys with IFC?
