Jenna,
Thanks for the answer, and I have been really focusing on how the volume is so important. I've been "practicing" on predictions of the initial direction of a stock at the open by the premarket bids/asks, price and volume of each...sometimes get it right! On many of my "good" stocks, the newly moving ones, I haven't taken a chance and sold at the open ie EPAY,NITE,etc...they change direction in seconds and I'm not that quick.
I just think this is so fascinating...it's like a stock comes alive every once in a while, like a carnival ride, spins the time and sales window, slows a little and allows a few to climb on and then takes off again for another wild spin in the window.
I know,I know, I'm getting weird....

Jenna, that was another great post (re gappers).
<<I would get in and have done. >>
This is the best advice...I often wait that 1/2 hour only to give up, and then it takes off without me.
If I had read this last night I would have bought IVIL today when it was up $9. Right Adelle? :)
