QUESTION: "How many Bid.Com shares will be up for trading on the first week of the Nasdaq"??? I understand Bid.Com has about 39 million shares out for trading. Everyone I talk to intends to sell from 25-50% of their shares if Bid.Com gets on the Nasdaq,they hope during the 1st. week if the US demand is there and the price is right.!! They figure the demand will be great, but in the meantime, regardless of the price, they're holding onto the remainder of their shares for the long term. If that holds up how millions of BID.COM shares will that take out of the system.??? I think all that may have evolved from EBAY's experience because when they joined the Nasdaq last fall their shares jumped up 400% from the opening price over a month or so I think, and a good many sold.??? But nobody dreamt it would go to near 3000% ?? from the opening NASDAQ price in less than 6 months.?? I guess that's why you hear so many BID.COM shareholders say they're going to hang onto a good slice of their bii shares for the long term, come hell or high water.!!In the meantime it might go in reverse for BID.COM., who knows!!! I wonder what were the stats. on all those Internet Auction companies on their 1st. day on the NASDAQ (Small Cap and Big Board)-ie.- (opening price,low/high for the day and close), do anyone have that info. it would be very, very interesting.!!!In the meantime anything can happen to the share value of stocks in this game especially from outside forces.!!
