Cheeky -

Get Linux 30.00 bucks and no Y2K problems.

Minor detail.. Linux is an operating system... to the best of my knowledge no entity on earth runs a business on an operating system. Businesses run on pesky little things called applications... in all this handwaving about Linux, I've seen very little discussion about the sorts of applications available so far for Linux.

Like word processors (certainly not applications, but pretty essential), spreadsheets (also not applications, but don't tell the people that write mission critical analysis in spreadsheets), databases, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, inventory control, ad nauseum.
