Snagged another one, flick. What about a CBS/AEN/TVW licensing/advertising/branding strategic relationship? CBS blew cable, but it could claim first-mover narrowcasting status and get one heck of a big bang for the buck. AEN, TVW and AXC would derive massive PR and traffic out of this sort of initiative. Imagine Rather, Letterman and Wallace, plus Oprah, Trebec and Vanna (if the King World deal goes through) pitching channels on TVW and entertainment on AEN! CBS's Internet "family" presently consists of minority interests in MKTW and SPLN, plus an option on Karmazin's mouth. Why not affiliate with some TV properties, boys?! BAM
