OK....I understand your question now.

The point is not to get 6% on one's investment. I think that the advantage of owning the fed is the power that control over THE key global monetary institution brings. The world's financial markets are all influenced by what the fed does. Think of how one could profit by not only knowing what the fed will do in advance, but actuallly controlling what the fed will do!

Think hard......if you have trouble of conceiving of how one could profit from that, then perhaps you could try to imagine how insider trading in stocks works........

People argue day in and day out what the fed will do.....imagine how you could profit from KNOWING and CONTROLLING what the fed will do. Naturally, this has to be subtle, but a smart organization could easily go a long way with this power.....
