Any sense if this is going to be the first of many such licenses? Just how broad are these patents?

How would SIBI discover that something was discovered using technology that infringed the patents? I suppose big pharma might choose to cough up a minimal royalty up front rather than risk the discovery after a product was commercialized that it was discovered using infringing technology.

I guess the PDLI Queen patent is a little analogous, but enforcement is much easier there as PDLI can presumably figure out fairly easily if a new product is infringing.
