Contrarian ways of Compaq seem to have been typical of the past year. My theory is that investors come back to Compaq when the other stocks are not looking so good. With the market up Compaq looks bad in comparison to the hot stocks. With those stocks going down Compaq looks better. Jimbo made his bucks on the hot stocks and now I guess there are none left so he is back to Compaq.

Also bad news seems to make investors feel better about investing in Compaq. Maybe all those good news press releases (hipe) scare off investors. I do not think investors will know how to act if the stock ever corrects. Is good news, bad news, and bad news, good news? Could good news really be good news, or is it that they want us to think it is bad news and it really is good news? I'm confused ...

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the earning whispers number on Compaq is now .32 from .38. Humm... Victor your .38 is looking better.
