Never said otherwise, but read the document to get the rationale and also check the various patent authorities around the world to those that claim IPR. It will then dawn on everyone how many people actually do hold IPR and that the ITU term "on fair and reasonable terms" is there for a reason. This is not to say I don't agree with Qcoms amount of IPRs.

I don't doubt that Ericy will license cdma IPRs, but the negotiation with the strength of Ericsson's position meant they could secure a great deal. More details will emerge as time goes on.
