Dark Y2K Secret: My2K from Microsoft.....

The world is in for many new very rude awakenings from here to the end of the year.

Call it the "My2K" problem - i.e. "My PC's Y2K Problem".

Microsoft has cleverly skirted this issue for some time. NEVER have they once come clean on the inherent potential downside of their programs and supporting Windows OSs on the subject of Year2000 problems.

The only thing I can fathom is that they can and will direct the entire world - at the last minute - to either service deploy patch #4 through 2000 OR to the ultimate solution - i.e simply buy/upgrade to the latest copy of Windows.

So in the span of just the last few weeks we have discovered:

1) Secret watermarks (GUID #'s) in ALL our MS emails and Windows derived documents. - which they've been using to track and store our virtual comings and goings.

2) A major security break in Windows Internet server programs.

3) Exploding macros - Melissa - which can disable millions of PC's and related corporate systems......

My guess is that there are greater minds at work on the BIGGER picture behind all these egregious bugs, lapses and holes inside the general muddle they've passed off to the world as THE application platform of choice.

Where do you want to go today?

There a huge world out there of crazies who want to make a point:
NOT with Microsoft.

Microsoft's mindshare has been leveled these last several months.

Watch it's system & security share take a huge dive from here on out.

I smell a rat. It's all coming home to roost.

Windows2000 - God bless the marketing guy within Microsoft who came up with that product name. It will probably be burned into the hearts and minds of legions of PC users from here on out.

Just a calculated guess and feel from where I sit........
