Now the question is, will this continue to the downside significantly. Right now it is hard to tell since it is so early. A positive is that the NAZ is not selling off that hard.

Donald,

two important events going on in the tech sector today - AMAT analysts meeting and MSFT DOJ meeting. I find it inconceivable that MSFT could possibly reach any agreement with DOJ in the first round. AMAT, on the other hand, can lift the entire semi sector if they say anything more positive than the street is already praying for.

On the down side, if both MSFT and AMAT report disastrous progress, NAZ can break the record one day point decline today.

Only C and IBM among the Dow 30 are up so far. The DJU may test its February low soon.
