This could shake up many recalcitrant banks to full speed ahead, esp. if AOL's ebills could be put online in a few months.

I wouldn't hold my breath! I don't know the status of CKFR vs. Intuit battle, but it's my understanding that the AOL system software is a garbled convoluted mess. And, nothing out of the ordinary can happen very fast. Yahoo on the other hand is in much better shape and should able to get something going fairly quickly.

Personally, I believe that if Yahoo goes live the banks will start to panic. They will increase their efforts to play in the game. -- It might also be the push that many billers need to get rolling...
