I know you got that quote "KGB thug" off CNN yesterday but you should think beyond the "KGB thug" branding. Russia needs the IMF and $U.S. to rebuild _now_. There is 4.8 Billion $U.S. earmarked for Russia which the U.S. could veto. They want to do something positive in this for NATO to garner favor of the U.S. I predict Russia will withdraw support from Yugoslavia if negotiations in Belgrade fail. This will cut Milosevic's only external life line which will ultimately force him back to the table since his munitions/supplies have been decimated during the airstrikes and he's counting on Russian support to wage the ground war.
