Morning Tom, Some new ideas as to the next few months surfaced yesterday when I meet with some European economists yesterday...

Thinking regarding the US market, now includes that the Y2k problem could cause and increase in buying and hording supplies through the last 2 quarters, thus keeping the numbers climbing only to have a short fall in the early part of 2000 as these supplies are used up vs buying in the early quarters of 2000....

The numbers will bear out the final results, but after the fact...but an interesting twist on possible outcomes and effects on the US and other markets....

Markets mixed to the up side today here and in Asia....
