Your post is consistent with an estimate I made about a year ago that ECD would get about a nickel or a dime for each disk sold. Not bad, but notvery good either. ECD really, REALLY, needs to get more into manufacturing. This is why I am so enthused about the OUM development.

It has been a mystery to me why the OUM products have not happened before now. Whatever the reason for the large memory chip companies not making ECD an acceptable offer, I think it is for the best. Now we appear to have been more-or-less forced into entering manufacturing of our potentially most profitable product (though much of the manufacturing may be jobbed out). The challenge now is to sell these products - probably not an easy or quick task.

Once more, could you be so kind as to state 1% of what? What is the numerator and what is the denominator? I like to be quantitative. Bob did not like the quantitative approach at the ECD Meeting.
