I would say, a statement under oath in a grand jury court is "to the American people." The case should have been titled "The American people vs Bill Clinton." I wonder if we could start a class action civil case for breach of contract? Hey jla, you are a lawyer, what about it?

What an ass. Wasn't there a comma there? And he did lie under oath and to the American people, a fact which you have yet to address forthrightly, just like your hero Bubba. I see you'd rather quibble over punctuation. What a surprise. JLA
