a 3:2 would turn 40 into 60 just as a 2:1 would turn 40 into 80. your math is flawed.

robert,

A 3:2 split is the same as multiplying your number of shares by 3/2 or 1.5. So it's 40 x 1.5 = 60 shares

mazman

Robert,
I think that only applies to your broker <g>

so 3 for every 2 would turn 40 into 60 plus 40=100

the rest of us would just get the 60!

Good luck
Joe

I like your math, but unfortunately your fantasy of owning a zillion shares of AOL is clouding the face of your calculator.

3 for 2 means you get 3 shares for every 2 that you have. If you have 40 shares you will get 3 times halk your shares...or 60 shares.

But, I don't blame your for " wishful math ".!!!!!
