GREAT NECK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 30, 1999-- Gilman + Ciocia, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTAX - news)
announced today that since the debut of its on-line tax preparation web site ''e1040.com'' in February, it has averaged one
million hits per month and is averaging 70 on-line tax returns per day.

Commenting on the announcement, Tom Povinelli, Chief Operating Officer of Gilman + Ciocia, Inc., said, ''We are very
pleased to report that our e1040.com on-line tax preparation web site is experiencing very heavy traffic. The Company will
