The Soul is used as our personality, all our hidden and immaterial stuff. Whether these are joined somehow besides at the body remains an atheistic stance, with a suspicion of agnostic. Stoner talk and entertainment. There is some sense that grotesque Bio-engineering will be on humans. And that it will be confined to medical. I do not see either as likely. Changing our food stores can bring disaster. Sub-visible manipulations can have difficult to detect disasters. Or, political responses to sudden, unencoutered threats creating war powers authorizations. I think alot o fpeople's common sense and decency, but the hubris of the elite constantly amazes.
