I feel Orange Crushed (or is that Orange Sliced?) by the huuuuuge drop in KO pricing today. 1-2% less case shipments means 1-2% less stock price. Does it work that way? What am I missing?

On a personal note, in the last case of Diet Coke I purchased, it contained a wonderful excerpt from a book by Jimmy Walker called "Dynomite! and other things I can use blow up my dead career." (yes, coke packages book excerpts inside their cases. I think Pepsi did MCI/Worldcom 5 minute phone cards in their promo.

Ok, so now am I to understand that if there is an economic turndown in the US, our soft drink consumption will fall? Maybe they are losing out to other drinks like water. I wonder if they can start a "Ban the tap water" campaign.
